LOCKDOWN EXTENTION IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The South African Embassy in the Russian Federation wish to advise its citizens that the Mission will remain closed pending the announcement made by President Putin, extending the country's lockdown until 31 May 2020.
 
The Mission will continues to work remotely until the lockdown has been uplifted by local authorities.
 
South African citizens stranded or in distress are requested to forward the following details to the South African Embassy: Full names, ID number, Passport number, Email address, Telephone numbers, Contact details of the next of kin in South Africa. The information will remain confidential and only forwarded to the National Command Council on Covid-19 in Pretoria for final decision.
