Announcement on South Africa's  Repatriation Plans, including for the Russian Federation by H. E. Dr Naledi M.G. Pandor, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa.
On 21 May 2020, Minister Pandor held a press briefing on Government repatriation efforts. During the briefing, Minister Pandor mentioned that over 5000 South Africans have been repatriated thus far from various countries.
The Minister further indicated that the government of South Africa is still intensely engaged on repatriating more South Africans stranded abroad, including some from the Russian Federation.
The Embassy wishes to advise that information pertaining to repatriation from the Russian Federation, as announced by Minister Pandor, will be communicated in due course.
