An original letter of invitation from the South African host (for example it must not be “photocopied” or received by applicant through fax or e-mail).
Original Letter of Invitation means a letter with the original signature of the South African host.
The Letter of Invitation must explain the nature of friendship/relationship between the South African host and the applicant in the Russian Federation/Republic of Belarus and it must have the following information:
- Full legally-recorded personal details and telephone and physical contact details of the applicant
- Full legally-recorded personal details and telephone and physical contact details of the host
- The host to specify duration of visit
- The South African host in the letter of invitation must confirm whether the applicant (beside the host) have any friends or family members in the Republic of South Africa. If “yes”, please provide the full name, nationality, address, telephone number, and a copy of their permission to stay in South Africa and explain how they are related to you e.g. “My mother’s brother’s son”.
